If you are secure within yourself financially and emotionally and are in a relationship with a man who is also secure in both areas where you've been in a relationship with him for several years, what would be your reason to get married? There's people who's o.k. with being in long-term exclusive relationships and to be quite honest, they do work.

Yes, it does show that you're willing to commit to that person for the rest of your life but how can couples stay together for years beyond years outside of the covenant but inside of the covenant where it really matters, marriages don't last?

I know this is an off the wall question but I hear so much about marriage where people say don't get married for love and once you're married that's when the serious problems begin etc..... Has marriage turned into a business proposal or have the value of marriage really decreased?
